Very Reliable
Host Clear is definately a good webhosting company. I honestly was not expecting to be so happy with their service. I initiatlly was looking for a different host and I chose Host Clear for the price. The price is really good and setup was not complicated and extremely quick. My websites were launched extrememly quick. I was pleasantly surprised.

Good Service
I signed up to Lunarpages over two years ago when I created my first "real" website. The main reason for choosing them was due to their unlimited features, as I was unsure what I would be using. Support is good, yes it can tend to take a little while to reply which is a little frustrating when you are looking to get something done there and then however I have never had to wait more than a couple of hours which is good. Uptime has always been good as well, we had a few database issues a few weeks ago which brought down our site (it runs on a MySQL database) after they told us it had been fixed, it came down again. I asked them to sort the issue out and to their credit they did a server audit and we haven't experienced any issues since. I've recommended them to fiends who were looking to create a website and they have been as pleased as I am with Lunarpages. All in all Lunarpages are a good web hosting company and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable web hosting provider.

Cheapest Domain Registrations
I've used 123-Reg for my domain name registrations for many years now and everything has been great! They are by far the cheapest UK domain registrar I've found with no hidden extras. 123-Reg offer cheap prices, reliable service and easy billing. I've been pleased with the service I've received from them so have been going back year after year!

Something Positive
I've been looking round for a web hosting company for a while now, but it only seems like people are quick to criticize and not so quick to praise. I've been with Webhosting.uk.com for a few weeks now and the price is relatively low so I wasn't expecting much technical support but I must say I am very impressed. They responded to my emails promptley and even spotted a typo in my query string and corrected that for me. Excelent service considering the price.

An ideal hosting partner
I have had several sites hosted with heartinternet for several years. I have found their email and telephone (unlike some hosts) to be excellent. I have no hestitation in recomending their service. My only negative comment is that their on-line user manual are not particularly helpfull however a quick phone call will clarify any issues. N.B. I will never score 5 stars for any company as I believe there is always scope for improvement.

VidaHost
I've been with Vidahost for a while and they're simply fantastic. The support staff seem to always be available which is great for when you've had too much coffee and end up working on your site at 4am. No downtime so far (which is important) and the speed of my site is amazing. The package I got - the starter one which is the best in my opinion for home users - offers 5 addon domains which I'm currently filling up and 1gb of disk space. I doubt anyone would have enough to fill this up.

VPS.NET Review
I'm a veteran of VPS services. I've run my own hosting company, done lots of web consulting, and currently am the CIO at a small retail chain. Put simply, I've used my fair share of web hosts over the years. Also, while my account with WHT may be new, I've been lurking around here for many years. And personally, I often trust the advice of a lot of users on here, so allow me to spit out my opinion on my current VPS provider.
VPS.net's biggest strength is scalability. Only pay for what you need is the name of the game. And with the ability to schedule additional nodes in advance, you can massively burst your vps resources if you expect additional load. If only some major websites were so well prepared...
I must say though, the most pleasant surprise has actually been their support staff. From corp executives commenting and being involved in the forums, to an extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt helpdesk, I've never felt forgotten by vps.net.
To be fair, their services are not for novices, you're being handed a powerful toolset, but basic linux server knowledge is a must. You won't get anyone to hold your hand if you don't understand how to configure a basic LAMP stack, but if you do run into any technical snaffus, their support staff are once again, very helpful.
Their web based VPS management is one of the best I've seen. Web based console works perfectly, and online settings for IP address management and DNS setup are easy as well. Pre-made images also make deploying different distros a breeze, and their provisioning system is incredibly fast.
And finally, they use XEN for virtualization, not OpenVZ. OpenVZ is far more popular in the VPS market do to it's ease of use from the provider end, and the ability to oversell resources, but don't be fooled, XEN might have slightly more overhead, but at the end of the day you end up with a more reliable and customizable platform. However, your opinion may vary here on the OpenVz/Xen debate.
I highly recommend them for anyone from a web developer looking for a few sandboxes, to businesses looking for a powerful web hosting solution.
